Kevin Lyons developed a passion for magic at the age of 8, when his Uncle Jim
showed Kevin his first magic card trick. From that day on, Kevin has had a love
affair with the art of conjuring. He continues to study and develop great magic,
while creating lasting memories for his audiences.
Kevin has over 12 years of performing experience, and has entertained thousands of
people with his enjoyable, fun-filled, family programs. He is the West Virginia
magician.
Kevin performs for local events – from birthday parties to fairs, festivals to
family reunions. He has done multiple, repeat performances in area schools at the
request of the students; The kids love him and the fun that he brings. One of the
highlights of Kevin’s performances are the audience interaction sections, which are
a key feature in his magic shows, and always include his live “Wascal Wabbit.”
Kevin’s chief goal is to inspire other people with the art of magic – and to make
them smile – just as he did the first time he saw his Uncle Jim perform that first
trick.
Continuing his life-long passion, Kevin travels the country to learn more about
magic by attending conventions and lectures with some of the entertainment
industry’s Top Professionals. He is a proud member of the International Brotherhood
of Magicians, and Kidabra International, an association dedicated to the
advancement of the art of magic and performing for children. He was also recently
featured in the West Virginia State Journal.
Kevin is a devoted husband to Gretchen, proud father of Dara, and companion to his
3 feathered friends: Tiki, Lexi, and Babi – exotic parrots. He also enjoys
bicycling when he’s not making dollar bills float in the air or reading people’s
minds!
